Samsung Galaxy NX takes Android cameras to a 20 MP level
After the camera-centric Galaxy S4 Zoom, which is an Android device indeed, but with point-and-shoot capabilities, Samsung decided to get serious with its TouchWiz-ed camera efforts and gave birth to the Galaxy NX.

The mirrorless camera seems to take in the footsteps of Samsung's top NX 20, and sports a 20.3 MP APS-C sensor that can blast the ISO up to 25,600, with Hybrid AF. A 4.8" HD touchscreen is adorning the back, showing Android 4.2.2 under TouchWiz, just like on the S4 Zoom, and there are 1080p video capture abilities, and everything is backed by a 4360 mAh battery, and weighs half a kilo.

It is powered by a monster 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor with 2 GB of RAM, just like some versions of the Galaxy S4, 16 GB of storage plus microSD card for more, there are WiFi, HSPA+ and, on certain models, 4G LTE. Voice call capabilities are not included like on the S4 Zoom for obvious reasons. As with your typical DSLR camera, there is a dedicated image processing chip.

The range of 13 NX lenses from Samsung can be used with an adapter, including a brand new 10 mm fisheye, and the camera comes standard with an 18 to 55 mm OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) lens, while the aperture ranges between 3.5 and 5.6 f-stop.
