Motorola Flipside finally gets a taste of Android 2.2

Here is some good news for all of you Motorola Flipside owners out there; an official update is available for download that will finally bring Android 2.2 Froyo to your device.
While is may be true that Froyo is an outdated version of the popular Android platform, it is nice to see some older phones such as the Motorola Flipside at least getting updated at all. It appeared that the Flipside was destined to remain on Android 2.1 Éclair forever.
It isn’t the Gingerbread tasting that many Android users are craving, but hey an update is an update and it is better than nothing. If you are still rolling with a Motorola Flipside and would like to update it then click on the link below and get yourself some frozen yogurt.

Finally Moto upgraded.... How come 2.2...... not 2.3?? Really bad MOTO

this upgrade is GARBAGE!!! it completely WRECKED MY PHONE! it gets stuck in a loop and never reaches the home screen. i will never attempt to update software for a phone EVER AGAIN!
