Ordered as soon as it came up on the website. I like the free overnight shipping that's going on right now also.

You would think the camera would be atleast 3mp. 2mp is becoming the low-end camera.

Yeah I have a Dare right now. And to be honest... I don't know why people think the picture quality on the dare is so great. It seems washed out with a lot of noise. I took multiple pictures with the Versa already and with the same settings the pictures came out much richer in depth and color. A lot of people don't understand just because a camera has higher MP doesn't mean it's going to take better pictures. My canon EOS D60 with 6.3MP, blows away my brand new pocket point and shoot Canon SD960IS which is 12.1MP. It all comes down to who cares? 2.0 MP =1600x1200 is more than what people do with there pictures these days. Most people just take a picture then upload to there myspace or facebook or leave them on the computer and never even bother editing them or printing them. However for the price point they should of just made the phone $20-30 even more dollars and just gave it a better camera and be the model above the dare.

Can you really say 2MP is low end? They are still releasing phones with VGA .3 MP cameras. 2MP is 6 times larger images than the bottom of the barrell freebie camera phones (Which for VZW aren't even free usually anyway). Actually, when you think about it, EVERY camera on a cell phone is low-end compared to a real Digital camera. Until we eventually get a cell phone with an optical zoom, I don't care how many MPs it is, its always going to be low end.

a cell phone cam should not replace a normal camera anyway.

I stopped in at the corporate store yesterday and played around with one. The battery was dead, so I couldn't use it, but it felt lighter, smaller, and cheaper than the dare. For my money, I'd prefer the dare, but we'll see...
