Google launches live customer service number

For those who purchased Google’s Nexus One, the experience around getting support for the product really was different for everyone. Always trying to learn and grow themselves in a new arena, Google has finally launched its official phone support phone number. Previous to this, customers had to rely on email in order to get any information regarding support for their phone. The phone number itself, 888-48-NEXUS (63987), will get you Google’s actual customer service and is open daily from 7:00AM to 10:00PM EST. In an attempt to become more customer centric, Google’s move to offer direct support shows their commitment in making the whole shopping experience with them a bit more tolerable. It’s always nice hearing a voice to get help on your product as opposed to playing email tag with someone that’s got an email template ready to send out to you as a reply. Add in the fact that they’ve recently also reduced the early termination fee for the handset; it goes to show how Google is learning from the whole experience and moving ahead.
