Samsung Omnia 2

The physical design of the phone is all anybody needs. You have access to all of the main functions of the phone from the main screen. You have 3 screens which you can swipe through and customisable with wigits. The Samsung software tends to be slow and clunky but luckily you can switch this off and opt to the "Windows Default" mode which has a cleaner look, is faster and easier to use than any parts of the Samsung software.Working in the Mobile Phone industry I can easily say that the camera quality is excellent and the AmoLED display is amazing. In my opinion, no other phone on the market compares to this. The application store and Windows Market place is really quite limited in terms of Apps which is a disappointment in comparison to Apple and Andriod but if you aren't strung by a desperate need for Apps and want a solid all-rounder this is the phone to buy. On specifications it is higher than the HTC Desire.

  • Good Looking
  • Great Screen and Camera
  • Fast and Easy to use
  • Windows Mobile software is fantastic

  • Has some software bugs - thanks to Samsung
  • No software updates yet

ugly phone

just a copycat i think, samsung jet is better and you will just burn your money here. design is copied. even if it has larger screen, the samsung jet is i think still better. just look at the editors rating too, it says that jet is better. so don't waste money for this phone, just get the samsung jet, it is rated 9 out of 10.

Pretty good functions but the design

Omnia is talked by many people in Korea by name "Jeon-Ji-Jeon-Neung".
Because it has many functions and it is one of the first Phone that has GPS and touch screen.
I like SAMSUNG and Omnia
but I hope samsung to spend more money on design like apple and LG.
Down below the "Call" and "Exit / Off" button which I don't like.
Sorry for my terrible English . I'm from Korean.

  • Many and good Functions
  • GPS
  • first touch-screen phone in korea

  • countrified design
  • maybe samsung spent money on hardware but software.
