LG kp115

Phone owned for

LG’s Bullet series is known for good performance with rich features, but it has a impression of ordinary looking mobile phones. Here is LG KP115,launched by the company to change this perception altogether. i bought one recently and seems to working fine for me.
LG Kp115 is contrived with a red or blue colored strip that runs around its all-black plastic body although blue doesnt look good. You will find the charger-cum-¬headphone-cum-USB slot on the left panel (need to be carefull) and a loudspeaker is well placed at the back panel of the phone. A 1.5 inch TFT screen, shuld be a little bigger as there is a lot of space between the screen and the control key cluster, comprises the front panel. The conventional D-Pad has been replaced with four separate navigation keys, which I must admit is a clever design tactic and looks good. The left and right direction keys can also be used to forward or rewind music tracks and up down keys as next track or previous track, which come in handy while listening to your favorite songs. Below it lies the alphanumeric key¬pad which I found out a bit unmanageable to press and uncom¬fortable to use while typing long messages.
As with all Bullet series phones, this device also offers the same good features and performance. This phone is rich in multimedia and it plays your music tracks well. This phone comes with an FM radio, a music player and a voice recorder to add to it. I found the voice quality in loudspeaker mode to be satisfactory, but wait till you put on the headset because it offers crystal clear sound with good bass and a great listening experience although felt uncomfortable to listen to while travelling in the traffic .
saving FM channels is a very easy .However, the option of listening to FM radio in the background is missing and could have been added. The phone memory can be expanded by using through a microSD card. This phone supports GPRS, but it was very hard to follow the maps with the small screen and this also deadens the Web browsing experience on the whole. The battery backup was poorwhich i did not expect. I simply fail to understand why some LG phones just don’t have an appropriate battery backup. The battery just lived up to two hours of talk time and music playback which was a heart break. I hope upcoming phones try to make up what this device lacks. Overall, I found LG KP 115 to be a trendy and smart phone to look at and somewhat short of features and good battery backup.
PS: the external memory will act as a pen drive if u want.no software needed for it.
