The Kyocera TNT is the most horrible phone ever created.

Phone owned for less than a year

I typically don't write reviews, but this phone has made me so angry that I'd like to help warn people. It's a cheap phone, in every way. Like Catma, I've experienced the annoyingly loud reminder beep and the unexplainable red light (even though the "reminder" options were all off). Not only that, but the call quality leaves something to be desired, the internet access is laughable, and the menu features are like a complex MENSA riddle.

The only good aspects about this phone are its compact size and light weight.

Other reviewer mus need a netbook. My daughter loves this replacement phone for her marbl ? phone from virgin mobileshe just uses it for texting and is much faster than her old phone.it's not the $120 full keypad phone she wanted but for a quick replacement she likes itOnly down side is you cant transfer your old messages/texts/pics to the new phoneWhile I don't care personally about the messages/texts loosing $20 in downloadedbackgrounds is bad.

Simply awful

Phone owned for

This phone, inside and out, is absolutely littered with annoyances bad engineering decisions. There are several menus that are not navigable by using numbers and must be scrolled through. It is infuriatingly slow. At the end of a long string of keypresses to accomplish a simple task, one missed button can negate all your work. Or, the phone can decide to operate so slowly that it doesn't properly register all the buttons you pressed. Or, the keypad will ignore you.The phone sometimes decides to delete the rest of your message if you go back to correct a mistake. In some cases (usually with errors, usually caused by the phone sucking so bad), the phone will make LOUD beeping sounds, even if it is set to "silence all".If you receive a new text message, and read it, the phone will usually alert you to the message again after you exit it.There is a red light on the phone that blinks for no discernable reason. The front panel spends 50% of the time showing useless information, instead of the time and date. The directional buttons are quite difficult to press, often leading to mistakes.I could go on for a while. I'm sure I will remember other things later about this phone that pissed me off. Suffice it to say that I took the battery out and smashed it with a hammer. Even before I had a new phone to replace it with.
