Pros:
The styling is very nice. Love the white casing.
Cons:
I tried this phone through Simple Mobile and returned it. The "push" mail is a royal pain to use. You would think the light on front identifies when you get mail, but it is supposed to indicate that you have it plugged in according to Alcatel, but it didn't. Do I really need a light to tell me that it's plugged in?
I came from a Blackberry phone and expected this phone to at least have the basic functions, and it does BUT you really have to work at it. There are many, many steps to complete even simple operations. Just emailing and texting is ridiculous!
For example, to get to mailservices such as gmail, you have to set up a macro-style set of keys to go to a shell program, then to email. WTH?
Programming was a list of mind-numbing selections without any type of help or instructions. Nothing in the single foldout mice-type instructions and nothing on the website.
My feeling is that this phone, with its limited capabilites, should not cost over $30.
After the experience with this phone, I would never consider Alcatel phones in the future.
