i love it, and please tell me if i screwed up this review. Its my first time.

imadolphin has owned it for more than one year before publishing this review

I have owned my ellipsis for two years and it has recently been having major problems. The icons dissapear, the internet connection is sloppy, and the camera sucks. But the ellipsis 7 is easier to control than anything else ive used, and it runs the games i play flawlessly. I can swap between apps with speed and ease.

Build quality 10/10

Call quality 1/10
Internet 8/10

The problem child...

Jzaiger has owned it for less than 3 months before publishing this review

Where do I even begin on this device... The fact of the matter is that it is no high end, nor top-shelf tablet/device. I ran a simple test. I got three of the Ellipsis 7's from Verizon Wireless, and gave two to my friends and one for myself; my friends had no idea about the brand, specs, or past reviews or opinions. Overall, 2 out of 3 people reporting verifiable problems ranging from battery capacity loss, overheating, and broken or malfunctioning antennas. One of the big problems I had was my Ellipsis would use data even when on WiFi, and would eat thru it. Even with mobile data off, it still used it. Conclusion: If you have the funds, get an iPad, there is a reason this device is free with new contract. all in all 6/10

Build quality 7/10 Built like a normal average-grade tablet, nevertheless, its no iPad
Reception 6/10 Only gets 4G LTE, meaning if you are in a 2G zone or 3G only you will have no service until you return to a 4G LTE zone.
Call quality 6/10 Skype and video chats are good, but the camera is horrible.
Internet 8/10
Multimedia 5/10 Sometimes the video player will fast forward and play media too fast to even recognize.
Camera 4/10 Mediocre at best camera, and the front facing camera is even worse..
UI speed 6/10 Again, fairly average
Everyday usage 7/10 Its average to use, nothing extraordinary about it..
Text input 6/10 key board is sort of irritating to use due to its size and key spacing.
Display 7/10 Not a horrble screen, but again its not Super AMOLD display or even near Retina Display.
Battery 5/10 Battery life is comical for a 4000mAh battery.

  • decent build quality
  • 2 cameras
  • 4G LTE ready
  • X-LTE ready
  • Fast internet when, and if, it has service

  • no flash
  • no auto-focus
  • VERY low resolution front camera
  • horrible main camera
  • fairly average screen, could do better
  • Galling battery life
  • Problem prone
