over 141 million subscribers using its 3G CDMA and 4G LTE networks.
The latter spans over 2.3 million square miles, making it the largest
nationwide LTE network. Previously a joint venture between British
Vodafone (45%) and Verizon Communications (55%), by 2014 the latter
became the sole owner of Verizon Wireless.
