I am also having the SONY ERICSSON W8. And you know what ?.......Its AWESOME.
Yeah I know that there is no MEGA BASS supported by the WALKMAN SERIES in XPERIA. But there are many third party TRIAL VERSION applications which are AWESOME and having more POWERFUL BASS and EQUALIZER than the original SONY WALKMANS XPERIA SERIES. If you need the software, CONTACT ME @ ->

Hi! I bought this phone last Christmas and I really like this phone. It's simple to use and it runs fine. All the necessary apps like Angry Birds, Talking Cat, Webster's Dictionary, First Aid Guide, Opera Mini, ES File Explorer, PDF viewer that I've installed in this phone runs well and there are no problems whatsoever until this time. Battery can last up to almost 3 days, if you know the trick. Browsing the web is fine but Facebook with its latest version is such a crap that I have to open my Facebook account through the web browser. But overall I really like this phone. Its just too bad that Sony Ericsson now Sony do not provide a newer Android version even Android 2.2 (Froyo) version to the least.
