How is it possible that note 8’s price is higher than the new flagship model? It never happened and wont happen either

Major difference :S-pen. The note is a note. If you want the S-pen, buy a note. The decision for others is only difficult if they want to be seen with the absolute latest phone.

The Note 8 has 3300 mAh battery not 3200 mAh.

Yes the s-pen is special, but looking at the benchmark numbers the S9+ seems to be packing 30-40% more power which makes this a no brainer.

No it is not. It's $100 more. It's in the article (or go to Samsung's website).

Wow, they finally improved the audio output power to a very decent level (the same as the former king - HTC 10). Besides the S-pen, galaxy s9 plus+ seems to be a better choice in every aspect. If it had a flat screen, then it would be no brainer for me. They should try to release a small batch of flat screen flagship version to see how big is the demand because I've observed that the number of people who don't like the edges is constatnly increasing.

I give the win to the Note because of the S pen

the S9+ comes with 128gb not 64gb doesnt it? my uk model came with 128gb, i thought that differentiates between the models, more cameras, more ram, more screen size, and more storage

The thing about this comparison is its between two different product lines. The S series 9 is the successor to the S8 not the Note 8.
