You can see the progress in the Galaxy S8 without even using it: it’s got that lush new bezel-less screen. But what about the performance, the camera and battery life?…

The S8 is ridiculously highly priced in India.

This time Samsung has tricked those in India who were waiting to buy s7 at reduced price.
I thought s7 would sell at 35k after s8 release.
But it seems the price is not going down that Much.

I received my S8 today. It's awesome and I LOVE the dimensions.
But, the lack of a removable battery and the price make the phone a FAILURE.
I would NEVER buy this phone. My company gave it to me for free.

IMO, is amazing how one generation of phones can so quickly date what was accepted as a good looking phone. I can't look at a phone with more then say 1/4" or so worth of top and bottom bezel anymore and not cringe.

S7 is good except for the very slow keyboard.

S8 is a stretched out awkward looking S7 period.

On paper these phones have great specs and look great but when it comes to day to day use they SUCK. The full glass is pretty, but it breaks...EASILY! And the repair cost is insane. The edge feature doesnt allow you to hold the phone without triggering active content like the ads which reside on the sides of the browser. Every phone gets dropped at some time, and all my previous phones did ok. The s7 and s8 break everytime. New glass and digitizer is a minimum of $350.
