Bigger screen, bigger battery, better in almost every aspect but smaller size than the iPhone...

I am amazed that iphonearena has managed to make the iPhone plus brighter than the Note 7's display. When others have tested it and could get 1000 nits out of the Note 7 display. Not to mention Phonearena has made no mention of the Note 7 HDR screen. Which is a first on any smartphone. The Note 7 display eats the iPhone 6s plus display for lunch. If AMOLED is so bad or not comparable to the iPhones IPS display, then why is Apple switching to AMOLED displays? Phonearena why are you so biased towards Apple? They must pay you guys a lot of money.

Bigger battery means nothing. Check the battery life comparison. 6S Plus does far better in lasting more than 1 day, whereas the S7 Edge/Note 7 might last an entire day.

It would be better to wait for the battery test....

Not really. Both are better than 6s plus. When you also consider they are pushing much more pixels you realize how bad battery life is on 6s+.

Hey no offence bro.... But these type of justifications are just stupid. You cannot change the PPI on a display after purchase. "iPhone is good because of lower PPI." "Note 7 almost beats iPhone even with far more PPI." These type of comments are really annoying. Only thing matters is that How does the final product performs. And I know that Note 7 is a great all-rounder.

Then same logic apply when you go compare 1080p with 1440p device on battery life and framerates.

When you factor in QHD having no visible benefit: (http://www.phonearena.com/news/Quad-HD-vs-1080p-vs-720p-comparison-heres-whats-the-difference_id55697 ) and having to have a huge battery to support it, while still having less than one day of battery life, then you realise how bad battery life is on S7 Edge/Note 7.

Too bad thats just phonearena. By that logic S7 is not worth the buy cause phonearena said it. Here are some actual experts on the same case:http://www.displaymate.com/iPhone_4_ShootOut.htm (Under Retina Display Acuity)http://www.clarkvision.com/articles/printer-ppi/ Battery life is better on S7E and N7 as well as faster charging times. Good luck waiting 2 hours for full recharge.

Or we just look at actual real life tests where browsing times are similar, call times almost twice as long on the Note, video 30% longer, never mind scaling the output to 1080p too where the Note destroys the iPhone. The standby time only makes a difference if you leave the always on function running, otherwise the Note performs excellent here too. Don't take my word for it, see Gsmarena for example. Cool thing is that the optimizations work better over time, meaning that after ypur pattern and app usage has been calibrated for, the Note will improve here still.

That's only on iPhonearena, who up till today refuses to reveal how they do their battery test. Other sites ( http://goo.gl/WI8x6m | http://goo.gl/xuUjcp | http://goo.gl/mNTt6t ) and videos ( https://goo.gl/JKTUHW ) say the opposite, but believe what you want to believe.

Honestly, as someone who owns both I can say that I've noticed no difference between the two, not really. If anything it depends on what I'm doing that day. Sometimes my iPhone will die before my S7, or vice versa. That aside, I can't wait to get my hands on a note 7.

yeah ONLY when u leave it on table without touching ! as soon as you start using it battery life going drastically down ! THAT's the TRUTH .. why many ppl replacing iphones with samsungs s7 or this note then ? Lieees lies and lies..

This is very true Apple has good standby times, but that is not as important as in use performance or recharge time and iPhones have always sucked in these areas. I know from bitter experience.

No way iPhone has a brighter screen than the note 7. DisplayMate stated it had the brightest screen of any smartphone.

Also Phonearena mentioned nothing in regards to the new HDR screen on the Note 7. Phonearena is proving that they are biased, or they don't know what they are doing.

But the iPhone's display is LCD, so it's reflective panel nullifies it's brightness advantage when outdoors. Super AMOLED has proven to be better.

Stop whining you little kid. You're just afraid iphone will look s**t (iphone is s**t btw) when compared to the greatest. p/s: It's not like they care about your stupid and baseless comment anyway. Iphone still look s**t even when compared to Nokia 3310.
