why would you want to multitask on a 5"+ display? even on my note 10.1 its almost 100% useless.

Hard to choose, both are good phones. But for the UI though, Xperia Z3 is an example of "You keep it simple, you keep it fast." Note 4 is an example of "Full of features, full of experience."

Touchwiz has improved a lot since the Note 3, never experienced any lag on the Note 3, my S5 and the Tab S 10.5, and I always root them and tweak them. I love the refined design of the Z3, the front speakers, and the ip certificate. The Note 4's functionality, s-pen, camera, and the great xda support makes also ideal for almost everyone hunting for a great smartphone.

I really like the way Samsung is going now. They got rid of the stupid dimpled pattern on the GS5, and they're using real metal instead of shiny plastic. Now all they need is to streamline Touchwiz and they won't be criticized again (at least not by rational people).

These phones are defiantly in different categories imo. The Z3 is a beautifully built phone and with its water resistance, and front facing speakers make it a great contender to the note4. I have to say my money goes to the note 4!

If Verizon would offer the Z3 I would have a hard time trying to decide which one, but since they will only offer the Note 4 I think I'll be happy with it. Though I would have love to have tried the Z3 camera.

Why are manufacturers making it so difficult to choose a phone now a days? They are all so damn good. Too bad screen plays an important factor in today's smartphone, note 4 here I come. Sony it's time you challenged samsung in the phablets space.

theyv been trying actually, as much as what other manufacturers do. They release pumped up size flagship and there you have it lol only samsung cares about giving extra software functionalities for a real "SMART" phone

IMO, Note 4 and Z3 are in different categories. Note 4 is a phablet while Z3 is on the S5 league. But it is really hard to choose between these two. If I have some cash I would certainly own these phones.

Honestly , Sony needs to STAND OUT from the rest. Yes Xperia Z3 is great & all but still

Maybe I should root my AT&T Galaxy Note 3. I experience lag all of the time and I hate when my power button will not work. Sometimes, I cannot turn my screen on until I push the power button many times. I am hoping that the Galaxy Note 4 is better, even though I hate the speaker is on the back. I wish it was on the bottom again, if not on the front. Because the Sun Spider score is not good on the Galaxy Note 4, will that cause Internet browsing to be slow?

True, they are different classes of phone. It may all come down to the user, and what their uses are. And maybe even the size of the users hands.

Note 4 all the way! Sony Z 3 awesome phone but the note 4 stands out with its quad HD screen. And as far as the Note 4 being clunky it's not it fits comfortable in the hand!

z3 screen is gorgeous enough ..qhd smokes the battery .. i will take a 2 days battery or more than a useless screen for nothing

As much as I like the Z3, the Note 4 is simply better than it overall, making for a solid package which has the best of everything.

I like z3 but I go for note 4. I want to buy 32GB but in my country I can only get 16GB of Z3 and I hate 16GB.
