Wow, great review but not what I expected. I thought the Note would win hands down except for the hi res screen. I'm looking for a tablet and thought the functionality of the Note made it the best buy. My wife has a iPad 3gen which we constantly have difficulty with when trying to buy online as the ios doesn't like the security used by a lot of sites. Also the iPad needs to be paired with a PC running itunes. I'm hoping that the Note is free standing like Samsungs phones. I have tried a note in carphonewarehouse and music can be added straight from website (in my case, my skydrive) It can also copy documents straight to memory via wifi. The pen input also appeared a major bonus for the Note but doesn't have text recognition like my daughters HP touch screen pc. The SDcard is also a plus so I can view photos direct from my camera (although its micro SD on the NOTE). Hopefully there is decent photosoftware. I can't find decent office software for either that allows excel to run formulea. I think its the Note for me as Samsung are doing a wicked exchange deal online
