Samsung GALAXY Note Review

0. phoneArena posted on 02 Nov 2011, 10:17

Have you ever wondered how big could phone screens get? Of course, we're talking about the Samsung Galaxy Note. This beast of a phone actually carries a 5.3” display – the biggest you can find on a device, marketed as a “phone”. We can already see the debate over whether the Galaxy Note should be considered a giant phone or a mini-tablet...

Poor call quality
The large screen only brings marginal improvement in certain areas
Camera could be better

phonearena is a crap...if its not an apple product then they usually giv a crap rating....i am using this phone and i never felt any problem as they have mentioned...instead of praising innovation u guys r killing it by ur useless review....Spen is the rockstar of this device...its an innovation which hav to be praised....i liked this website initially now i am moving away from this to websites which provide a non bias review......this site should be renamed applearena

Poor call quality? It's by far the best I have experienced on a cell phone. Excellent also the speaker - loud, clear without piercing. Overall quite perfect - as tablet and phone. Fits in pockets very well.

Hopefully it will makes its way to the US soon!!!! I do believe everyone is loosing their "collective" minds with all these small, "allegedly" comfortable phones! I'm 6'4 340lbs and even my EVO 3D looks like I'm holding the unlock remote for a KIA!

This is the first and only Samsung that has ever rung the bells for me. Love the interactive five stylus which makes it a very versatile device. Hope it gets upstream 4.0 and that itw gets released in Australia. Yeah its big but I think in this case thats good. Like it alot Mr Samsung and hope it gets to Australia soon.

Imagine that you will just draw something over the screen and your phone will respond to it. Isn’t it a great technology? The Samsung Galaxy Note looks strikingly beautiful with its full sized display...

Who cares if they give it a 6 or 7. What matter is people rating who actually own the device and me as an owner I give it a 10/10. Great job Samsung. Sayonara Apple juice.

Looking at the specs, Galaxy Note is good. But the only problem is its size.http://technologicalnotes.blogspot.in/2012/02/problem-with-samsung-galaxy-note.html

The Samsung Galaxy Note is not even close to a tablet but can still perform like one. I just bought the Galaxy Note (white) from AT&T and sold my iPhone 4S, and I loved the iPhone but the Galaxy Note is just unbelievable, blazing fast on 4G LTE (i've never seen speeds like this) with LTE network speeds from 25-40 Mbps download and from 12-16 Mbps upload. Look for your self at the specs in EVERY category of this device compared to ANY OTHER...the Galaxy Note is literally double the power, speed, & memory, plus a better display, camera...etc. and the list goes on.
One device may beat this out, and it hasn't launched yet....(NO not the iPhone 5)...but the new HTC One X and their lineup of "One" series coming very soon.

I am really tired of all these i phone 4s comparisms. Do you always have to reflect a useless bias everytime u review a phone! Review the Galaxy and HTC and for once leave the unwanted and needless iphone comparisms. Not everyone is an apple fan and i for one will never be one. Thank you.

I don't know what's with you people that say that this review isn't good? It's not PhoneArena, guys, it's just Ray S. which may not handle the Samsung Galaxy Note. His hands may not be that big to hold the device, but my hands are that big. I can't say that PhoneArena is bad or good, it's just a group of people reviewing phones and writing articles about phones.
Anybody who says that this is iPhoneArena is wrong because Ray S. may have a problem, and if he becomes fine he may be able to handle the Samsung Galaxy Note later. Well, I have a Samsung Galaxy Note, and I upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich, and I can say that it can replace a bunch of stuff here. Once again, it's not PhoneArena, it's just Ray S. who's experiencing problems.

Now, you guys who complain, shut up. Ray S. is not a bad reviewer, it's his OPINIONS, and he must have reviewed this Samsung Galaxy Note when he was experiencing problems. If I was the reviewer the review will be different, and if the reviewer was somebody else the review will be different. Seriously, guys, it's the OPINIONS. That's all I can say...For now
