Nokia C6 Review

0. phoneArena posted on 12 Aug 2010, 05:58

The Cseries portfolio represents the core line of Nokia phones. Devices in it can come in a variety of form factors, and range in numbering from 1 to 9, depending on the price and features. I have a Nokia c6-00 and i believe it is a much more resistive, understandable and easy to use phone than the N97! i believe the phone deserves more than 6/10 because all you people who judge a phone by some persons reviews, and comparing it to much more expensive phones, that you really don't know till you try it, and if you can't afford a really expensive phone, like myself, you would understand that this phone is actuakky a very good phone! :)

I am a programmer and i have been using this phone for sometime now.I know why many people complain that the phone is slow, its because people use software's that consume too many memory and applications that do not show running when u press the menu button. One such software is netquin and mobi gaurd.i recommend that u use ramblow(free version is available on the web) to see running hidden applications.this software will help free the ram without consuming much memory. Also try to use nokia applications rather than third party applications(half the ram is reserved for nokia apps). Also follow the below steps Step 1: upgrade software . Remember to make a security copy. Step 2: try not to run many applications at the same time. Step 3: disable automatic key lock option (you’d better lock/unlock manually). Step 4: disable touch screen vibrations and sounds (have you noticed that our device responds better and faster when it’s on 'silence' mode?). Step 5: Use the RAMblow Pro application and, very important: enable the memory boost option. Step 6: Try not to use NetQin antivirus and Mobile Guard. Although they are good (and free), they consume a lot or RAM memory, so they’re not for our device. I'm using Kaspersky and RAMblow right now and they’re working so fine (the problem is that they’re not free). Step 7: Set your log duration to 1 day, or no log if possible. Normally, the call log list defaults to 30 days, but that’s completely unnecessary, at least from our speed point of view. Step 8: Delete install log. Step 9: Delete media log share this post on other sites for all those who are having problems with their c600 :)
