@ som This is hilarious! "looks like every things are almost the same? Right, buddy. The Incredible has a faster processor, more RAM, better camera, FM radio, 8GB of built in memory, better UI(Sense), 7 homescreens. But yeah, you are right, "every things are almost the same" LMAO!

The Droid still wins in my book, unless your fingers are gigantic the physical keyboard is fine and you get used to it in like 2 days, 8GB of internal memory is a real bummer in my book, a memory card is always better, the 7 home screens argument is worthless because there is an app for 3 dollars which will give you that on the droid, the extra phone RAM is also pointless, I have every which app and then some I could think of on my droid and still have like 80 free MB's, who needs 600 apps? Nobody....I promise that processor doesn't make a big enough difference for anyone to want to charge a phone every 18 hours, thats total BS, I can't wait to see how many people complain about the Incredible's battery life, even in that review they said the FM Radio was fuzzy and pointless, which Pandora is better in my book anyway...There really is no argument, MOTO DROID wins....

ok it has 8 gigs of internal memory along with an expandable memory card slot. just to clear up that part of the argument

I will stick with my Motorola Droid. I enjoy having the option of the physical keyboard and between apps and rooting the phone I can customize it however I choose :). The only big difference for me is the memory and camera.

i'm stickin with my droid too. the camera on the droid is amazing when outside but inside it really does suck. i'm runnin at 800 mhz also. it definitly is better with it rooted.

I found the droid keyboard pretty useless but I came from a curve... Way to man miss hit keys due to the flat nature of the kb. The onscreen keyboard in landscape mode is more accurate imho and if you have to tilt the phone either way, no win. The portrait mode onscreen kb is still too bunched up for me... even with better kb I miss hit many keys. Since the screens are the same size I don't expect the HTC to improve that...

i love the keyboard on the droid. the buttons are nice and quiet when texting.

@dandirk If you use the keyboard more, the keys will start to become rounded, and you may like it better that way... just a thought. I am personally someone who prefers to use on screen keyboards. HTC has the Portrait QWERT and [QW][ER][TY] and landscape QWERTY as well. The Suretype qw er ty is my personal favorite, but I am excited for Swype to come out on Android as I will then use that on my Incredible when it arrives... THIS FRIDAY! (i am excited to ditch my 6900)

I love how PhoneArena lacks a set of balls when it comes to actually picking a winner in these comparisons. Put on your big boy pants and have a concrete opinion.

iPhone is still king. Sure these phones have better specs, but iPhone wins usability easily. It's funny because even though droid has more megapixels on it's camera pictures come out better on the iPhone. Specs aren't everything. It's also how you put them together.

how is iphone king? maybe in the apps department, but other than that, android is a much better and more exciting ui.

Yes I Phone is smoother and has better apps. When new one comes out these phone will not be as good. I quit using my Droid and went back to an lg 8100 (old Phone). I will wait for new I phone now.

actually, the iphone has LESS smooth animations. my sister has an iphone and i constantly sit there and look at it and compare it. the ui of the iphone isnt only outdated, but the pictures are choppy, too. idk but androids possibility (as i said, im running SENSE UI and can switch to any rom i choose at any time) is endless. the iphone is more like the jitterbug of smartphones to me. my grandparents share an iphone...

the incredible is great and is a better option when compared to the iphone. that said, the iphone is 3 years old. the 3G and 3GS were just minor upgrades to the 2G version. this summer, we get a brand new device. that is the device that the device that the incredible needs to be compared to. 4.0 on the new iphone will be the OS and device of the summer. im a fanboy, but i will admit the evo 4g will give the new iphone a much tougher comparison than any Droid device (for now).

A camera is nothing unless you have the speed to take the picture. For me, I always need a keyboard, my fingers are too big for touch screens. So the Droid is right for me. I've also been a huge Motorola fan and had excellent phones since the V710 (first blue tooth phone). I won't badger HTC, I have their Touch Pro which works like a charm, but lacks necessary programs that Android has. I'm also looking into more open source material and that's where Android leads the way. Put it this way, the Incredible needs to have a price drop, the processor will be outdated in a month and people will buy the Droid or Eris stating that the Incredible is too much $$$ for their need.

The Incredible is the same price as the Moto Droid....with a faster processor....I don't understand your argument?

you know whats funny? im running sense ui on my droid as we speak. stock android wins no matter what because you root way easier and the options are endless. (ps, i thought the droids pictures were more vibrant)

Ugh fanboys suck balls. I love my iPhone like my N-1(wish I got froyo already) but there is no need to talk about anything other than a droid on this page! Why compare iPhone? It has nothing to do with this!(and actually taco50 except the camera the 3Gs specs are better than the motoDROIDs). Stick to the subject at hand. That said, if it wasn't for me hating Vzw I might wanna replace my N-1 with the incredible. Both are better Han the droid but the camera is what does it for me. But all in all the differences are so negligeble for me that I wouldn't upgrade. Maybe the desire might do it. Back to the point. Being someone who has a car dock and a spare charger at all times, because I am a huge power user. I wouldn't care about battery. I am way more at home with a virtual qwerty than physical, so in that respect I likethe incredible. However, I think I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like the sense UI. That may be why I like my N-1.
