This phone is a winner. 1. Perfect footprint with large display 2. 3300 mah 3. Strong audio with quad DAC 4. Attractive design 5. MicroSD 6. Strong camera Take my money. At this point, looks like the phone of the year easily.

Exactly SD 836. But V30 looks good and camera seems taking excellent photos.

What would the marginally faster chipset do? The 835 is plenty fast enough already for pretty much everything we need right now and in the near future.

Nothing stands out, Note 8 crushes it. The V20 stand out from its 2 displays and removable battery. For some reason LG thought it was good to remove both unique features Flop

Nah LG's OS is still boring and garbage. The Pixel XL 2 will beat this out along with the iPhone 8.

Don't forget that the pixel xl 2 is made by LG

So you won't get a Samsung because of Lag, but don't mind LG with it's history of Bootlooping?

After looking at this phone for a while, I start feeling like my iPhone 7+ is too ugly.

Those bezels are a sore. For both, the eyes and the hands.

It reminds me of LG KM900 Arena(except of course the bezels) which was a good looking device :3

That's how you do back fps, Samsung while still having 3,300mah of battery.

Nice to finally see some competition. Nothing incredibly exciting but a nice phone with several things going for it. Not for me though. LG will have to put in at least three years of prominent sales and earnings for me to feel comfortable they will be around in 5 making mobile.

Are you kidding me? LG has been making cell phones since 90's. This isn't HTC who only makes phones. This is one of the largest companies in South Korea? Do you think they are somehow going to stop making phones and go out of business?

Oh men, I think I have to upgrade already from my G6... What a nice phone (except for the 3300 mAh battery).

Me too. A shame, I just got the G6 and I love that phone. But I will be getting the V30 and selling the G6.

If the speaker is not as good as my G6 then I'll pass on this one.

The front looks exactly like a gs8+.

If anything stock android is boring. Lacking functions, that you have to replace with apps. But I loved HTX sensation XL, LG G2, hate my job iphone 6, that I will ditch for this LG V30. OLED Android Wide angle camera thin watterproof big screen small bezels and on and on...

I do like the design. It does look a bit S8-ish but without the curve. The curve on the S8 does look pretty but makes screen replacement expensive and for most people it does nothing for usability. In fact its distracting and makes edge selection more difficult. I've always liked the V-series from LG but they're not available in the UK

Isn't the V30 finally going global?

I really like the V30. It's probably LG's best phone since the G2. But I would have liked the G6 flatness because it's very easy to attach a full-screen glass screen protector. I mean, these phones are seriously expensive, they must be well-protected, and protecting a 2.5D screen is not very easy and also ruins the aestethics. I think the battery life, despite having the same size with the G6, will surpass the G6 by quite a margin, because of the OLED display and Snapdragon 835 insead of the power-hungry 821.

Seems great phone indeed but front facing camrea 5mp thats not acceptable .its dishearted LG fans. they shud go with at least 13mp if they really want to dominate contender....

Megapixel wars are over. They don't even guarantee you better reproduction.

As an owner of Lg V10 I have mixed feelings about V30. One of the main advantages of V10 in comparison to other (almost)flagships smartphones was that it had durable case and was relatively resistant to falls, while this seems to be like other hi-end smartphones, so one fall and you looses few hundrends of bucks :/
