LG V10 Review

While initially it might appear to be just another experimental device from LG, the new V10 jumbo smartphone might very well take the place of the uninspiring G Pro line for good. Here's the deal: the LG V10 may have just a marginally larger screen than that of the LG G4, but it comes with a unique trick of its own: a secondary display that's always on to show you the time and date, notifications, or next calendar event. Could this be the special ingredient to make phablets work for LG?

The LG V10 is available with 64GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot with a price on T-Mobile of just $600. Compare that to the 64GB Google Nexus 6P at $549 (with no memory expansion), the 64GB Samsung Galaxy Note 5 at $780 (again with no memory expansion) and the 64GB Apple iPhone 6s Plus at $849 (yet again with no memory expansion) and you can see the LG V10 is quite a steal. To make the deal even sweeter, LG has a special launch promo where you get a free 200GB microSD card, extra 3,000 mAh battery, and battery charging cradle. That's a $300 value bundle if you buy the LG V10 at T-Mobile, Verizon, or AT&T.

This 'Review' and I use the term lightly, is so biased and misleading it really makes me angry to read it. I have the V10 for a week now and I can tell you I think the V10 is Premium Phone and I am more pleased with it than I imagined I would be. It is beautiful premium design that is very strong an durable. Has stellar reception (the only phone to fully use Qualcom's advanced antenna technology). The camera is phenomenal and the only phone to be listed for superior camera by Sandisk. Expandable memory beyond the already generous 64 gb. Replaceable battery so as battery dwindles in respectability through age, I can pop another an any time. I loved my G@ but battery 2 years on held half the charge that it did new. The phones actual performance is smooth as a hot knife through butter and I have had zero lag or stutter. The additional 200 gb card and extra battery just seal the deal. The size is very manageable and the screen is bright and clear and really pops with color and detail. Personally i like a phone that has a little more thickness so it nestles more in your hand, and I like more rubbery grip on the edges so I am getting a case for it. The speaker is loud and has some depth, but put on a good flac file and a high quality head phone like Sure or Etymotic and the ESS Dac just drops the noise floor to pure black silence and the air and spatial placement of instruments in the recording space is unmistakably a WOW. It is equal to my Emotiva dc1 dac which was $500 alone.

The review was very negative. I watched many other reviews that had a lot of good things to say about the V10. I have a Galaxy S6 and a LG G Stylo. The S6 wins in most every category, but I tend to actually like the LG! I am waiting to get hands on the V10. And by the way, if you want a phone that just works, get an iPhone

Have you not noticed that they never have open discussion with the commenters after a LG review. And why are so many people trading in Samsung Notes for the V10 then.If you don't believe me go to T-Mobile,AT&T and Verizon and read the purchasers reviews for the LG V10. Phonearena is and will always be anti LG. I had a dear friend of mine who is extremely close with one of the CCO'S of LG to please stop sending them phones to review! But look on the bright side! If they're not talking crazy crap then something is wrong! I promise you this phone will do better than they expected. And as far as issues and glitches go everything has them including us.

This review was really, really bad. You just said that LG screwed up by giving us choice. I cant believe this.

This phone is a no brainer and makes sense for typically everyone except for the bandwagon gomers that get a phone based on brand name. You will get more out of this phone than any other phone on the market and not to mention you get a boat load of free stuff and its beyond durable just go watch he drop tests on it. LG is a great phone and the V10 takes it to another level

I would love to get my hands on this phone to test it for myself, as I cannot take PA reviews seriously. It got a score of 7 despite it's many CONS that they have listed, yet it scored the same as the Xperia Z5 with far fewer cons, and the pretty much the same as the Blackberry Priv, so like I said, it's hard to know exactly how this phone really is based on the PA review alone.

This is the best phone I've ever had. It deserves an 8 or more, a 7 is just too low. It is such a balanced package, a jack of all trades, master of none. I was apprehensive about getting a "phablet", but this V10 has hooked me.

This is a great phone! I tried and returned the Moto X Pure Edition. I tried the Sammy Note 5 and the Galaxy 6S. Good phones, but too many small issues with each one added up to returning them both. I was "dared" to try the LG V10 ... spent over an hour playing around with it and I have to say ... it is the best phone experience I've had in a long, long time. So many options to easily customize the user experience and interface. So smooth. So fluid. Maybe the "specs" are shy of the others I listed, but in actuality, the differences are minuscule ... and they've been tweaked by LG to provide a positive experience. And the fit in the hand is great! Feels solid. Looks solid. Easy to hold and grab out of the pocket because one side is nice and grippy, not glossy and slippery. It's a great phone and I'm very happy. Great job LG.

This review reminded me why I do not visit this site anymore. For who do you work, really? Please ignore this review and seek elsewhere, since this guy for sure is not to be trusted. Do you want to say all the other reviewers are so wrong, eventhough you clearly do not know that much about all the features of this phone? One guy said "Samsung Arena." That makes alot of sense... I have a Samsung Note 3 and the LG V10 is the only option available to me since Samsung decided to remove SD card and battery. The only Note 5 we can get in our country now, is the 32G. It is useless and way too small. One guy said that you need to be a media nut or something to need more. I say you do not use your phone really. For you it is a toy or just a gloryfied handset. The V10 is not perfect, but this guy does not know what he is talking about.

I would like to say phonearena got it all wrong with this article. It's clear why they get so much criticism about being apple fanboys! This is the best phone out and works extremely well. I got rid of the note 5 for this phone and the 6s plus. It really does everything well and is very fluid. Whoever wrote this article clearly has no clue what they are talking about. LG works well, and the 2nd screen is very useful. Anyone who is looking to get a phone and not cost as much as the iphone or Samsung. this is the best phone out period!

The cons of PA: Bland body material and color options Inaccurate display colors Power and volume keys could be better Cluttered, complicated user interface The user experience needs more work Unsatisfying video recording quality Modest battery life These the true is possibly "Modest battery life." The rest dont is so important or true. Here a king of try down the smartphone, looking for fur in frog.

I'm looking at the V10 because of the battery. My Note 3 is fine, but I don't do sealed batteries; even my Ultrabook has a removable battery.

So far I enjoy my new LG v10 The only problem I have with the LGv10 Is the battery life very disappointing But other then the battery issues I am happy Do they make an extended battery with case for the LGV10? If so does anyone have a link

battery problem lies on the setting and your usage. installing many apps running on background, any phone won't last half a day. either you manage your usage, otherwise you just need to get an external charger which is the main reason why ppl choose an LG - having two batteries should suffice.

I'm 70 years old and have been using computers, tablets and cell phones for sometime. I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and love it. If I didn't have the Note 5, I would absolutely have the LG V10! It's a great phone and one of the only two phones I want to own! Oldtechi
