LG Quantum Review

Compared to the majority of the existing Windows Phone 7 smartphones, the LG Quantum C900 separates itself ever so slightly by being the sole one to sport a landscape style QWERTY keyboard. Since it's priced evenly with the existing crop at $199.99 with a contract, will its keyboard become the driving force to persuade customers to choose it over other offerings?...

The update to the Windows Phone 7 OS is supposed to happen tomorrow, and it is going to be a welcome and necessary series of fixes. No copy-paste, no multitasking, no instant messaging (besides MSN, as Microsoft still thinks that people actually use MSN), no homebrew support, a pittance of settings and options, no Flash support, and restriction to a single browser: IE. Facebook contact syncing and Gmail/Google Calendar/Google Contacts support have been a shining diamond of functionality in a miasma of terrible design decisions. I strongly recommend that you actually use the WP7 OS in-store for a good half-hour before you buy a phone running it. Even if this update fixes a lot, the OS currently lacks the development community and basic configurability of either iOS or Android.
