HTC One (M8) vs Samsung Galaxy Note 3

HTC tried its darnest to compete with Samsung’s aggressive efforts, but to no avail, they couldn’t keep up with the fanatical pace of its rival. This year, however, the HTC One M8 has already been acclaimed to be a formidable figure – one that intends on being relevant for quite some time. HTC’s offering is hot out of the gates, but we wonder if it has the steam power to overcome the features rich Samsung Galaxy Note 3...

The Note 3 is probably the best smartphone to date imo! It's packed with everything a person would need in a smartphone. The m8 is a good device in its own right as well and shouldn't be looked down upon. I'd have to see real world battery results though because when I put my note 3 on the charger at 11:30 pm, I usually have about half battery life remaining & that's taking it off the charger at 5:30 am. At this point, all of these devices have their pros and cons & are excellent choices either way.

Thats what i was saying. M8 is too tall for its screen size. Look at the comparison. Unless all you care is big stereo speakers on your phone, This phone has major screen/body hight/width ratio problem. I had some hands on in the store this past weekend. Its too long physically. Feels nice, of coarse, and looks nice aside for looking a bit weird with small screen in relation to overall size.

I loved my note 3 but it wasn't special enough for me to keep it longer than a few months.. I feel the M8 will be the same. I think it's more about my dislike for the OS more than a dislike of the phones

"As for the Note 3, it’s nothing more than average with its quality. Even though voices through the earpiece sound natural, there’s some crackling heard at the loudest volume setting. On top of that, our callers on the other end of the line complain about our voice sounding robotic." It was tested with a T-Mobile Note 3 so............

Well I recently traded in my note 3 for the htc one and it hurt my heart, I really didn't want to give it up. I dropped my not at least 20 times from asphalt to hard tile not a crack that alone made me fall in love with it alone not to mention the huge screen and features which I rarely used but loved the fact they were there. It's swift , it's fast it never slowed down on me hell best phone I've ever had... Seriously. I'm getting used to the htc one and it's smaller screen the texting sucks though the note was far more comfy and honestly it felt a little easier when it cacame to navigating. It's just so damn swift....gosh I miss my note but I can say that once you get used to the htc one it's honestly a worthy adversary. If you want the best phone and most durable (personal experience ) in the world then go with the note 3 I mean if you can afford the f**ker cause it definately will break the bank. If you want a simple phone that is more fitting and full of power get the htc one but just be prepared to reminisce a bit about the times you spent wawatching movies on that mini theater we call note 3. If you have a note 3 keep it cause it gets no better. Of course iPhone is top notch when it comes to os but those Apple head f**kers just want your pockets I've witnessed to many screen deaths it's amazing how such a great phone could be enclosed in such a fragile exterior greedy f**ks. Ps. Htc one has a pair of speakers that blows competition out the water . All in all note3 is the best phone ever created thus far
