HTC 10 vs Apple iPhone 6s

The HTC 10 is housed in the premium metal chassis we know and like, but the camera has been given a special emphasis, and the software – a thoughtful overhaul. That is why we are pitting it now against Apple's iPhone 6s, which also sports a solid metal housing and stellar camera, but is more compact thanks to the smaller screen size. Which one should you grab?...

Why even compare these two. Or for that matter any Android flagship to a low resolution, no ois iPhone 6S. All the Android flagships are superior to that old tech iPhone.

What I want to know is why Phonearena gets a guy that is clearly an ios and iphone fan, to do a comparison between these two phones. You can tell the way he writes, he clearly favors ios. "HTC brings common Sense in the ragtag Android overlay business, moving it closer to the clean iOS experience." ios is clean? Since when? It has bloatware, it LAGS like crazy, it's latest updates have made it clunky. The HTC 10 and the Nexus 6P blow this phone out of the water in smoothness and quickness. People have claimed this site is biased towards Apple and I've never been on that train....but when I've used both of these devices and this guy keeps leaning towards Apple in the majority of his writings, I have to wonder. By the way, he said the brightness is lower than the iphone in maximum settings, well, it is. However, outside with both phones, I really can't tell a difference. In reality, they are both hard to see in direct sunlight and if you have sunglasses on, forget it. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Well this site is highly biased toward Apple products. Most of the writers are ifans and most of the commentators are ihaters. Well one could argue it is the writers that are the cause of too many ihater's presence in this site.

Tom's hardware, Pocketnow, Engadget, and a number of other websites gave HTC One M10 a much higher rating.

Well is picture comparison for the camera are so wrong.. HTC 10 is better all around than iphone for quality of picture. Iphone beat it for quality of 4k recording and thats its. Iphone arena at its best! Look in benchmark he shown there is one i almost never see and he put it there because the scoore was in iphone advantage.

Hardware goes to the HTC, eco system goes to the iphone, and 3rd party support goes to the iphone. The bottom line won't be about "better", but rather which phones finds itself into the hands of the most consumers.

iPhone obviously would find itself into the hands of most consumers in this era no matter how much better the competition. IPhone's gonna stay ahead for quite some time.

"which phones finds itself into the hands of the most consumers." That is not the purpose of a COMPARISON.

So what!

So the bottom line is which phone is better suited for a customer after analysing its strength and weakness with his/her needs and preferences. It is not the number of sales like u mentioned, which we already know which sells more.

Your bottom line is incorrect in this reviews context. He (LetsBeHonest) was saying it is a comparison between phones. You are speaking of the bottom line of the company but we consumers shouldn't worry too much about that unless we have shares in the company. I don't think ecosystem goes to the iPhone either actually. They are on par in that regard.

Ask HTC, what they're prefer the bottom line to be lol. Obviously, I don't care about the damn comparison. I'm speaking real world bottom line.

Yes, HTC would prefer to sell more. But i think we as customers would pick a smartphone which is "better" suited for our needs & preferences not by volume of sales. So when we looking from a point of view of a company then yes volume of sales is matters alot Then again from a consumer point of view its their needs and preferences.. Isn't it?

When doing comparison you compare more than what you said. Both phone are great in the respective way. You just get more for your money on HTC side of the fence. putting phone in hands of most consumers dont make a better device. Bugatti veyron is in much less hand than honda civic still wich one is the best overall...

They're both great phones which serve different consumers. That said, I'm very happy with my HTC 10.

The loudspeaker on the HTC 10 kick the iphone 6S in the ass. Just like HTC camera beat the 6S to a pulp but hey iphone arena at is best.
