Feel bad for your petite woman hands. My woman is small and petite at 90lbs and has no problem with her note 4... I cant stand my tiny GS5... to each their own. I had a LG Stylo and that thing was a perfect size. Ill go back to a 5.7"

Fanboys cry so much. Why can't you all just be open minded about your phones...

So because its not a IPhone it automatically gets a lower score? And last I check the iPhone is made in China.

hmmm.....really disappointed with the display quality and battery TBH but then again its PA and not to mention John V. I'll wait for gsmarena and AnandTech :/

He probably tested on the default settings, which is oversaturated and with adaptive brightness turn on (adaptive brightness means you have to shine a light on the light sensor to reach full) You can turn on sRGB mode and turn off adaptive brightness, which will fix those display quality complainants since its Note 5-like display Battery is more of a mystery, so far many reviewers seem to being disagreeing Real world battery seems to be around 4-6 hours SOT, which pretty good, but not as great as the Z5, Note 5 and iPhone 6S Plus, which can regularly get 5-7 hours SOT

Snapdragon kills battery

Correction: Snapdragon 810 and 808 kill batteries. 800, 801, 805 were fine, and 820 should be too.

Reviewers are getting 5 1/2 hrs to almost 7 hrs of screen on time. I guess, it's literally killing it in the great battery department.:)

Nothing crazy...I get 12.5hrs of on screen movie playback life from a 2yr old phone.

Like I said, John V. shouldn't be the only one reviewing the big releases.

Agree 100%. PA would minimize bias if they had other reviewers do these reviews. John V. reviews all the major releases. His biases and inaccuracies are well known.

I would never buy a phone with 'average' battery life

This one is not even close to average. But pa has something with google or huawei

They even contradict themselves and say it will get through the day even as a power user. If I'm not mistaking, that's still above average battery life lol let's not act as if all current flagships get you through the day with battery to spare.

Exactly.. This phone has been confirmed to have over 6h of sot with mobile on 70% of time.. Pa's battery life is almost half of what others achieved

This review seems a bit rushed, so that may be why the results are a little sketchy. And John V isn't really known for his consistency.

PA" On the front side, there's an 8MP camera with f/2.2 lens. " front facing has f 2.4 lens.

Any not god praising review of a product you like is BS? That's what all of you blind sheeps are saying. GSMarena doesn't like a phone you like? BS review. The verge doesn't, BS review. Funny how sheeps like you all nit pick reviews that are in favor of what you are. THE GENERAL picture from most reviews is that it has a mediocre to ok-eish battery and a good screen that's not as great as on latest samsungs. So how could it got a same or better score than lets say note 5 if it has this TWO MAJOR issues when compared?

Lmao the GENERAL PICTURE is NOT mediocre to ok-ish battery life. I've read at least 6 reviews saying it is decent if not strong.

Yep, I checked and its all true except Verge which said 'Battery life is fine' but that's just Verge being Verge.

I think the fact that the Verges review was so good speaks volumes. They never seem to have anything good to say overall about Android devices. Calling the 6p the Android phone to beat says quite a bit. And while a few outliers have negative things to say about the battery life and screen, the majority are saying the opposite, with one reviewer even saying with the brightness at 100%, it was too bright. I'd imagine like Vince said that they most likely had Adaptive Brightness on which holds the brightness potential of the screen back.

Check Verge's review of Nexus 4. They gave 9/10 for batterylife and 8/10 for camera. You don't need to look further for nexus hype after checking their reviews. I still have my nexus 4, and I know what an abomination that device is.
