Galaxy note 3 i even order my smartwatch (: but i do love the nexus i had a nexus 4. But the note feels manlier well if you have big hands. But if you want a something smaller phone auto updates and runs fast and smooth. Comes unlocked and 345? Hell yeah nexus 5 wins that. Both are top phones for me. Also the nexus 5 camera is like lowest in the market even the moto x killed it's camera.

Google devlope the DashClock Widget for Nexus 5 phone to see clock/weather and there is various advantage of it ... and the widget comes bundled with extensions that give you instant access to: • Your current local weather • Missed calls and unread text messages • Your next calendar appointment • Unread Gmail inbox or priority inbox conversations • Your next scheduled alarm

Could have been the Nexus, but please: add a card slot and put those 3 buttons below the screen! Only with video or picture playback you get the full 1920x1080 resolution, other wise it is just 1800x1080 or so? Waste of screen estate. There is enough space left at the bottom of the device. Or make the display longer to the bottom edge, say 2080x1080. btw, the return button on the samsung is exactly where it should, at the right hand side, my backspace keyboard key has been at the right hand side for a very very long time ;-) About color accuracy, the Note 3 has 5 different settings for the screen, including movie mode. Also the brightness can be much, much higher by putting it in auto mode and use it in the sun. Please redo that test section.

Funny, I picked up my N5 today and buddy picked up his Note3 the other day. While I could enjoy my phone right out of the box without having to root it, the rest of the crowd apparently have to go through the trouble to "jail break" their phone LOL N5 not only easy to use but has an iPhone type structure, making it a sexy clean looking phone. To each their own but not everyone is into rooting their phones and want to go through the trouble of rooting in order to take out a lot of components that were put in place by the manufacturer of the phone, carrier, etc... again which is one of the reasons why N5 was my choice. ...Yea sure my battery won't last two day, oh wow, I have a charger to fix that... next. Oh right, I need a tablet phone.. no thanks, I have my iPad for that... next. I need 60+Gigs... again no thanks, I have my PC for that. So at the end why can't I just have a simple phone to do everyday things without looking like an obnoxious person with an oversized phone that screams, "hey look at me!" Lastly: $399 > $699 for basically the same crap + KitKat and automatic first in line updates.

I'm actually more impressed overall with the battery life of the Nexus 5. In terms of total hours the Note 3 is clearly better. However, if you compare the battery life per mAh the Nexus 5 is a winner. 4:50 for a 2,300mAh battery and an IPS LCD is impressive. 6:08 for a 3,200mAh battery and an AMOLED is NOT impressive. Also, this is the first time I have looked at comparisons between the camera samples of the Nexus 5 and Note 3. I've heard many people say the Nexus 5 camera is pretty average(I would disagree) and the Note 3 is great but based on the sample shots here the Nexus 5 camera is MUCH better.
