Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review

Flaunting a 5.5-inch display, the iPhone 6 Plus from the outside looks like its 4.7-inch sibling, but it’s packing its own exclusive set of arsenal to set it apart. Taking into consideration that phablets are meant to be bridge devices between the smartphone and tablet, we’re curious to know exactly how the iPhone 6 Plus can deliver in that regard – more so knowing what its rivals have accomplished already. The word “plus” after anything sounds mighty intriguing, so let’s hope there’s a lot of that in this!

Browser based benchmarks are heavily depended on the browser itself as much as the hardware. As for GPU heavy benchmarks, well PowerVR solution used on iPhone is far more superior to Adreno in year old Snapdragon SoCs. Gotta love the change in tone of iphone fans. From specs/benchmarks matter to now "look at the pretty scores on synthetic benchmarks"

Samsung can offer you something which Apple, HTC, LG or Sony are failed to offer.... that is Lag, Stutter and Freez, and Note 4 will be no exception just for the sake of consistency.

Lol.. I was expecting something close to 9.5 or 9.3 considering how pa rated iPhone 6.

I agree. To high mark for not so great phone. I think that iPhone 6 plus is by far best Apple phone but it should only get 8.7 or 8.8.

Well, the bar has been set for the Note 4. If PA doesn't rate the '4 at 9.3 or better, that will be proof that the review was done under the influence of ganja. The plus-sized iToy is an incremental improvement over last year's flagship iToy. Apple was losing sales to the other phablets, and so now there is a plus-sized iToy. Net-net, if you are in the market for a phablet, there are better options, unless you must have a phablet that runs iOS.

Ganja... What about the influence of Apple's money they gave them for a positive review...? +1

agreed! what's funny is that in every conclusion of PA's review, there's always the alternative to the phone reviewed. even the comparison for the consumer to consider. not a single mention of the competition

720p with 240fps is the only thing that impressed me ...

The 240 fps is sweet looking from the previews I've seen

This device should've much Better if they utilised extra space like note series. Also better if it came with 2GB ram for better multitasking since it has such big screen.I'll rate this 8.5 and 8 for iPh6

The iPhone doesn't do multitasking, so any extra RAM would be wasted on it....

Except on multi tab browsing. Hated tabs reloading constantly on safari

But then it wouldn't have Touch ID and that is the best security that is on any smartphone so far

There is no denying that this is still the best iPhone yet and compared to the last gen 2, its a damn decent upgrade. My sole complaint is with pricing and how it is compared hopelessly to the android space when you mofos know goddamn well that you'd never in your life buy an iPhone. I mean sure the specs are pretty damn mid tier but they are more than enough for the typical dumb iFan... It just trips me out how y'all get so in your head and worked up over a damn review. And about PA's blatant subjectivity in individual reviews....no surprise there since reviewers are world's apart... Seriously why are y'all surprised? I'm just curious tbh...

So it destroyed all Android devices in every performance benchmark and has better battery life than Note 3, on top of iOS exclusive metal which makes iOS games look 100 times better than Android (check out Asphalt 8 on both platforms), great job Apple! I am not sure why 6+ is compared against S5 which has a smaller screen. I am also not sure if Phonearena's battery tests are legit (Xperia Compact with more battery life than Huawei Mate 2? Are you sure you did these tests correctly?) We will see what happens when Note 4 comes out. Samsung already knows it can not compete and immediately offered a $200 discount if you trade in a $10 working smartphone.

Stop posting this iBS again and again. Samsung have NOTHING TO DO with this offer you mention.

I honestly thought that this one will get a 9.5 because of the thin bezels and OIS. This time they didn;t take a picture with the phone at the ear.. I wonder why.

So 4 pros, 5 cons =9 rating? I guess it's those Apple intangibles that just can't be quantified.

it should have a rating for 5 or below. There are many things missing in this phone, how did they manage to give it a 9. 1. Camera is only 8 Mp 2. No FULL HD display 3. No memory card slot 4. Separate charging cable 5. No IP ceriticafion (dust & water) resistant 6.No quad core processor only dual core 7. Price is too high. 8. No multi window. 9. ........ 10. ........ you guys can add the remaining
