is this phone laggie? is 256 MB too small for this phone???

I own this phone. No, it's not laggie in my experience. You'll be surprised at how the phone handles big game titles such as Avatar HD, Need for Speed HD, etc. 256 MB is just enough. When running 7-8 apps, RAM usage is just at 70-80%.

But its no speed devil either, just enough oomph to get your work done with no frustrations whatsoever. Looking forward to the major software update in Q1 2011 for the Symbian OS overhaul.

I agree with dan-md. I find the N8 has plenty of free RAM. My phone is set-up to run at least 4 third party apps at start-up (Skype, JBTaskman, etc) in the background plus no less than 12 active widgets spread across the three homescreens. Even with these apps running the phone leaves me with over 115 MB of free RAM. Plenty enough to run navigation, ovi mail (3 addresses) and music/podcasting simultaneously.
