Sony makes fantastic camera sensors but they are terrible at the camera software processing side, 5 mobiles including sony use the same Sony sensor & Sony nearly always comes last for picture quality.

While that is true for a good while, the xz2 series and later definitely is top of the food chain in cameras, they did get som help with the possessing, nevertheless, now they challenge the best, actually, alot of reviews have confirmed this, and that sony and software thing is starting to belong in the past. One thing they should optimize is the camera layout, because that is getting old. But for camera preformence, you really cant complain anymore.

Imx300 ( z5, xz, xa1, xa2) and imx400( xzp, xz2) are exclusive. No other brand has.. Bigger photos let you crop more, then ppl think pic looks worse. Resize it to same size of other, you will see it is better. The other use 12MP because small crop hides noise and artifacts.

Sorry, but I think you're still living in 2016. Sony's newer processing algorithms are up there with the best. Only shill sites and paid reviewers won't admit this.

I don't find this confusing at all given Sony's history with recent xperia devices... The X series started with very similar devices, all with the same 5" screen and same camera performance, the difference was mainly processor... If that is not the case here, then the other possibility is that they are all different prototypes for the same final model (or might as well be different versions for each region)

I just want a 16:9 6"+ device with high end specs and bezels. I don't understand that manufacturers can't make a device for gaming and market it that way. Hope razor will make something like that with the latest specs and a 1080p or 4k ips panel.
