"Samsung at CES confirmed that the foldable device is ready to enter mass production" when did this happen? The device was shown behind closed doors to partners only, and by all accounts theyre still having trouble with the folding part and are still trying to figure it out, since it breaks if folded too tight, and according to all sources, the device at CES had a crease that wouldnt go away... this thing is anything but "ready to enter mass production"

By all account? What the hell are you talking about? The only thing that I've heard of is the software needs ironing out. Nothing like what you're talking about here.

What are you talking about, the working prototype device was shown off just a few weeks ago, its only software that is being tweaked now, and how do you fold something to tight, its a clamshell of sorts, it can only be folded as much as its frame allows

Afraid of some Chinese spyware company that copies everything everyone does under the sun? Gimme a effing break! Huawei will never be better than Samsung no matter how hard they try. Samsung pay and their super amoled display and a superior innovative software (one UI) will always be ahead of every little gimmicky crap Huawei will rush to the market.

I agree with the display. Huawei can deny this all day but lg oled screen looks cheap and color accuracy is awful for their price tag. Even s8 and iphone 7 have better color and brightness than mate 20 pro.

The Mate 20 series is far better than all 3 of the 2018 Samsung flagship phones.

Huawei won't enter the Us market... and if it does... it will be a long long time from now. way too many things going on between the countries.

"When Huawei hits the US markets its game over for everyone not just Samsung."- Trust me, when americans got used to oxygen os, even oneplus can beat huawei with their annoying emui anytime.

I love when companies bring their A-game when competition heats up. The consumer wins.

Innovation continues to come but 99% of it is coming from China. Others just got too comfortable.

Anyone else get the sense of "in display finger print reader" from the way that the 0 lands on the line? Also, the way that the line "shrinks" could indicate that the bezels are even thinner.

In my opinion the only thing beating Samsung is the prices of their devices, if they do their own thing and stop hiking up the prices because others are, they'll sell more each year

I'll definitely be interested in hearing more about the S10. I want to know more about their "night sight" feature. I'm very happy with my S9, so I don't have any intentions of upgrading at this time.

Could we change the name? All I think about was the wreck of a truck my brother drove for a few years that smelled like gasoline. I hated that truck. Other than that, I look forward to the new Samsung flagship that needs a different name. Oh and please no Galaxy X either.
