I would say that, but I don't think this is going to make it to the US much like most Nokia phones. Oh well, more money on the table left.

Definitely my next smartphone from HMD. HMD has been using smart business sense with how and where they've been distributing their products, so I think they will have it released here in the U.S. Their smart business strategy has been fruitful for them, as they've grown both profits and market share by focusing on the markets they are strongest in, proving that they don't necessarily need the U.S. market to do so.

I think that HMD will release the Nokia 9 stateside after it's released in markets where HMD is strongest, like Europe, China, and possibly India. I think that a smartphone of this "stature" will see a global release. The U.S. launch will almost always take a backseat to other countries that HMD is more profitable in, and that's just smart business sense. Some people take it personal that HMD does this (really don't know why, as it's a smart move), and take it personal that they don't release every smartphone in their portfolio in the U.S., but it's not personal. It's just business, and smart business at that. And it's not like they aren't addressing the U.S. market, of which their forthcoming deal with Verizon is a testament of, it's just that business devote more resources where they are guaranteed to make more of a profit. Anyway, looking forward to the release of the Nokia 9, and I'm eager to see what that five camera setup is capable of. Definitely my next smartphone from HMD.

I'm inclined to believe that it is. Better camera doesn't mean a bunch of cameras but we shall see soon enough.

I doubt they are a gimmick. OEM's like Huawei have proven that having multiple camera's with the proper software behind them can get you the best in smartphone photography.

I'm very interested if what I'm reading about it is true. It sounds like they are actually putting a useful battery size in this one.

Nokia has been VERY quiet in the USA,but whenever i travel out of the USA of the variety of Smartphones is overwhelming in a good way but sad because we (USA) are limited in choice. Phone service Carriers have WAY to much influence in the USA. Anyways, I really want to see what this can do,NOKIA's has an excellent reputation as a company and their phones.
