iPhone 3G S orders now en route to your door

With the official launch date for the Apple iPhone 3G S coming on Friday, many who ordered from the latter or AT&T are getting online updates on the status of their purchase. Both companies are giving out UPS tracking numbers so that the shipment can be followed on the web. Orders placed through Apple are coming from Shezhen, China. Orders made through AT&T are showing up as being "In progress" and while tracking numbers have been handed out, it looks like UPS has not yet started to pick up the packages containing the handset from the carrier.
