i-mate launches couple of new PocketPCS
i-mate have announced two new devices under their brandname, operating on Windows Mobile 5 AKU 3.2 for Pocket PC Phones. One of them is the JAQ3, which is the successor of the original JAQ and shares similar design Pocket PC with landscape display and QWERTY keyboard below it. The quad-band GSM phone has similar features, running on TI OMAP 200MHz processor, but it is much slimmer and adds WiFi.

The other phone is the i-mate PDAL and has same features but in much different design, standard candybar that is typical for a PocketPC. Its display has the same QVGA resolution but is portrait oriented, and its processor is the same Texas Instruments OMAP running at 200MHz. Other features of the world-capable GSM phones include Bluetooth and 2-megapixel cameras.
