i-mate introduces RAZR-thin Smartflip (HTC Star Trek)

Edited: Now we have some official information about the new i-mate Smartflip. As we reported earlier, it was officially announced here at the 3GSM. The device is also known as the HTC Star Trek, but according to i-mate's CEO it is jointly developed with  HTC, not just re-branded HTC. Official specification was not released, but the phone is RAZR-thin and runs Windows Mobile 5 for Smartphones. The camera is 2.0 mega pixels, with GPRS/EDGE and quad-band frequency support. The keypad is chemically-etched just as the RAZR's. Bluetooth and microSD memory expansion slot as also available.
The phone should become commercially available in April. The exact price was not revealed, but we were told it will be cheaper than the JAM.

We spent some time with the device and we'll give you our thoughts later in our on-site 3GSM coverage article.
