Zauba listings reveal new Samsung tablets, possibly a Galaxy Tab S2 refresh or the Galaxy Tab S3?

A pair of listings on the web site of India's import-export tracker Zauba reveals that Samsung is in the process of prepping two new slates. The SM-T719 is an 8-inch model that is being tested in India for Samsung, and will be euthanized when that task is completed. The SM-T813 is a 9.7-inch tablet that will also be destroyed following testing.

The first thing to check are the two screen sizes. So which of Samsung's current tablet lines offer an 8-inch and 9.7-inch model? That would be the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. Last March, the 8-inch version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was sent into India for testing, and ended up destroyed. By the way, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 has model numbers of SM-T710 and SM-T715. The 9.7-inch model of the Galaxy Tab S2 is SM-T810 and SM-T815.

The 8-inch model is listed with a value of $204 USD, while the 9.7-inch model is valued at $255 USD. Of course, those valuations do not reflect the final retail pricing of the tablets.

A refreshed version of the Galaxy Tab S2 could include a beefed up Exynos 7420 SoC (the models current employ the Exynos 5433 chipset), 4GB of RAM and a longer lasting battery. Keep in mind that those are just guesses, and there is no guarantee that the Galaxy Tab S2 slates are being refreshed.
