ZTE Axon M Unboxing

11comments

ZTE has seemingly beat manufacturers like Samsung and LG to the punch in bringing to market a modern, foldable smartphone, albeit in a slightly different form factor than the latter two companies may have in mind

ZTE's Axon M has instead taken a more simplified route, joining two separate 5.2-inch TFT displays via a hinge mechanism. Neither screen displays the qualities of a "bezel-less" curved design though; so with metal bordering each screen, there will be a pretty noticeable interruption between the two displays. This oversight aside, the Axon M otherwise takes modern design cues -- like metal and glass construction -- and melds them with similarly modern features, like a high-megapixel camera (20 MP) with OIS, Hi-Fi audio support, and a Snapdragon 821 processor with 4 GB's of RAM and 64 GB storage. ZTE intends to keep this line of Axon's running and has expressed intentions to make a sequel. Poised to carve its own niche, the Axon M is Priced at $725, and we couldn't help but take a look a closer look at what that gets you.
