And it tracks your speed, distance, and calories burned all built in, has a mode to let you listen to your surroundings, and it doesnt have a random stick pointing out. Still, i find the price for either of them to be far too high

Why would they? All they have to do is improve upon the IconX which has better isolation and sound quality (going by the wired earpods) and they have to considering Eratos and Bragi are releasing similar products.

Why when they already have a better option? Here is the spec that matters to me: Frequency Range: 20~20 kHz Speaker Sensitivity: 89.5 dB ± 3 dB / 1mW Speaker Impedance: 16 ohm Apple's EarPod Frequency (Low) 5Hz Frequency (High) 21 kHz How a lower range, but the bass on them sound terrible. The bass on the Icon X sound great and are equal to Beat Studio over-ear headphones in frequency ranges. I dont see apple topping that. Since the Icon X also has IR, it has HR, Touch Sensors, activity tracker and built-in storage...why would Samsung need to copy?

Already bought the Beats Solo3 and the W1 chip is really a powerful one.

How can you tell. It sounds no different than the model without the chip. You are a sheep. You actaully "think" because it has the chip, it sounds better. LMAO. You really need to see this video - This video shows Penn & Teller, filling branded bottles of water bottles, with plain tap water. People look at the name ont he bottle and actually think they are drinking something better. This video basically shows how company's have used marketing tactics to make people "think" what they bought is better, when in fact its no different that want they were buying before. Its how you guys say, when you put a 1080p display next to a 1440p display, of similar size; they don't look any different. The fact is they do, even if the difference is slight. You claim about the headphones is BS. I have both the original model and the ones with the W1 chip. The only "true" difference is the newer model is suing a slight better speaker. if you open the older model and open the newer one, the speaker in the newer one is a slightly better one. It is using a better quality material fot the speaker and also the magnet is larger. I am not saying the chip didnt improve the sound. I "think" it may have. But what I am saying is, the newer model uses a better speaker which help improved the sound. And even without the chip they woudl sound better because it is a higher quality speaker. if they didnt change the speaker the chip wouldn't even have mattered.

Supposedly these do nothing for acoustics and are essentially same as the earpods

Honestly, I don't see all the hate on the airpods. While I have only tried one pair of Bluetooth earphones (which were absolutely awful). I am very interested in the way Apple solves the connection issue. It looks as though it would be as fast as plugging in a pair of headphones, maybe faster. Connection at the push of a button. I like it.
