Maybe you used developer miui ROM. Stable miui ROM is quite bug free.

It's a feature rich ROM , everything we need in phone Rom , MIUI has everything . even if we need we can simply pass the feature to devs and they think that's a good suggestion then you will get it by one or two weeks through beta ROM. Automated options ,cleaner app, way it lets the user to handle the notifications, dual apps ,second space , child lock , AFAIK MIUI is the only ROM which kills the app when user clears it. Only thing it bothers me is , it's a heavy and resource hungry ROM . need at least 3GB RAM to run smoothly and multitasking bit sluggish when compared to stock. Even their phones has enormous support among xda Devs. I AM using Mi3 for past 31months

It has issues with Google services, kills background activities harshly, doesn't handle Bluetooth and WiFi direct protocols properly and various other nuances I found in just a few weeks.

I have no issue with something like touchwiz which is feature rich. But I just can't stand MIUI. If you like it, more power to you.

there is the setting there. A tech geek like us should explore the settings; it's right there in battery management menu. lmao I guess MIUI's features are too rich. I admit haha... even there's hidden setting that actually works like greenify if you tap the battery management a few times.

"Xiaomi is offering Qualcomm's Sense ID, which means that the handset's fingerprint scanner is embedded under the front screen."

First phone with an embedded fingerprint scanner in the world! Congratulations Xiaomi! :D

But what about 5.7-inch screen version? :(

It's below the screen. See the image. What they mean that it's integrated with the display glass, not under the main display per se.

its nice that Xiaomi is finally making phones that are resistant to water (even if its just splashes), but I'm still not ready to give up my headphone jack :(

Almost no one is. But these OEMs think that's the way to move forward. I was happy with wired earphones.

Looks very promising.I dont know why people complaining about miui. Its a very stable and feature rich ROM.U can also root the phone if u dont like miui.As rooting doesnt void the warranty. Its a best value for money phone available right now.I also like their decision to give a compact display with flagship features.I think upcoming OP5 is going to be costlier than MI6.Also the camera duo also look promising on paper.Only regret is the absence of 3.5mm audio jack. Its really a stupid decision by xiaomi. There is no need to copy Apple blindly and eliminating headphone jack is really bad.Overall Mi6 is best bang for buck now.

Disappointed in the wide top and bottom bezels, also the weight!! At 168 grams, it's nearly 40 grams heavier than the Mi 5 which was only 129 grams. Also heavier than other phones with a similar size display - like the Huawei P10 which is only 145 grams - much more in the average range for this size of phone. I value compactness in phones and the Mi 6 is a failure on that front in my eyes. A real shame as I loved the Mi 5.
