Check out the Vega Iron 2, this phone is so unknown yet it has a superior build quality and specs on par with the devices mentioned on this article.

really something, both thumbs up for xiaomi! they combined best of all worlds, if not made it better in some respects, and that too achieved with a reasoable pricetag.

The problem with Xiaomi phones is SUPPORT! The Mi-3 has been around since November of 2013, yet its still full of bugs. The manufacturer does not support its products. Some of the bugs with the Mi-3 have been around since the phone was released. I'm not talking about a graphic glitch or a misspelled word, I mean problems with the phone's basic functions. Like switching to 2G when 3G is weak, but never switches back to 3G again. In fact, if the 2G network gets weak, the phone will just drop the signal and switch to "no service" instead of searching for a different signal. The camera SUCKS. Blurry, grainy poor quality pictures... highly advertised slow motion has never worked... and the sensor is "supposed" to be a Sony Exmor RS... yeah right... my cheap flip phone takes better pictures. Notifications and notices are at least an hour late, all the time. Oh and the extremely fragile display that cracks if you look at it wrong... If you want to waste your money, go ahead and buy one... don't let the "high end" specs fool you... these phones are DOGS!

The phone is pretty compact if you think about it.. At 68.5mm width it's one if not the slimmest 5 inch phone around.
