Woz says Apple employees pledged to ‘never, ever work for Steve Jobs again’

Steve Wozniak, or simply Woz, the engineer who co-founded Apple and was at the very core of the first Apple computers, is a person who is no less instrumental to the early establishment…

If it weren't for the LG PRADA they wouldn't be a iPhone. Plus Jobs took the design from SONY prototype and use it to their own agenda. Think you were misleading. Without Motorola and Martin Cooper they wouldn't be cellular device of what we have today.

Your ignorance is abundant, I will give you that. The Prada had as much to do with the iPhone as common sense has to do with you: none. That's not even good fandroid trolling.

I think it was that arrogance that allowed for smartphones to blossom. Everything was there, technology wise, but it took Apple fanatics to prove people would be willing to pay so much for "just a phone".

Apple(including Jobs)- You don't know what you want, We know what you want. You want restricted low specs and high price product whose only advantage is smoothness.

"restricted low specs...whose only advantage is smoothness." Kind of contradicting.

Low specs and extra low features can run a phone smoothly. Especially when you cant multitask on your phone.!

" While Jobs’ role at Apple was to shape the final product, market and sell it, it was actually brilliant engineers like Woz that actually made the product."......... the sad part is most of the people don't realize this fact....... ane you ask an American about steve jobs and they will say he was genius, innovative, blah blah..... while not realizing who was the true genius and steve jobs was merely a salesman who knew how to sell products to the dumb people who made majority of population....

He understood electronics, how they worked etc. But the problem usually comes in when super smart people like Woz dont have the mind to push the product they produce. Where as you have someone like Steve who can talk to Woz on an engineering level but lack some skill to make certain things work, but their mind on the other hand has that tick to go out and actually have people buy it. To say he was merely a salesman is as a whole inaccurate.

The sad part is that you think Steve Jobs didnt know is stuff. Directly from Woz. Remind you when Steve and Woz met, Steve was 14 and Woz was 19. Huge mental gap in terms of what they were doing would exist even in todays times. "Typically, it was really hard for me to explain to people the kind of design stuff I worked on, but Steve got it right away. And I liked him. He was kind of skinny and wiry and full of energy. […] Steve and I got close right away, even though he was still in high school […]. We talked electronics, we talked about music we liked, and we traded stories about pranks we’d pulled." So if Steve was just a sales man, and nothing more, then Woz wouldn't have been able to say, Steve got it.

Strange headline. In the interview and in the story, Jobs was respectful and rewarding to those who stood up to him. Why wasn't THAT the lead? Oh yeah... wouldn't have enflamed as many posts. Jobs was exactly like the company he left- loved or hated, very little in-between.

Steve Wozniak, the electrical engineering major from the world's #1 electrical engineering school, UC BERKELEY, WAS the genius behind Apple, NOT the FRAUDSTER-Jobs, who dropped out of a private, liberal arts college. Woz is a great guy, but ANDROID annihilates ANY iphone; specs don't lie.
