As you know, Microsoft (similarly to other developers and manufacturers) is also preparing its own mobile application storefront. The news about it is that Windows Marketplace for Mobile has surfaced in the form of a mobile-ready site. This simple thing inevitably leads us to the speculation that Marketplace may not come as an application, but as a web page. On one hand, this may be a good thing, considering the fact that it would allow Windows Mobile 6.1 users to also take advantage of the new service. On the other, it may not be as handy and would not allow for multiple downloads at a time for example. Either way, we expect numerous known and unknown developers to join in once it is launched.
