Will LG launch an Android tablet later this year?

LG may be getting ready for a comeback on the tablet market, according to Korean media. In fact, the company may be working on a new LG tablet scheduled to launch before the end of Q3, 2013. Details are scarce at this time, but the device is expected to run Android...

I feel bad for some manufacturers these days. The tablet market is such a hard one to compete in. Either you get sales by making an amazing tablet, but with a price that puts it along side the iPad, which is hard to compete with, or you make it cheap, but then you're competing with the companies that aren't even making a profit on their tablets, like Amazon. It's just not an easy market for manufacturers, great for consumers though.

Nexus 7.9. LG is the only one with a 1900 x 1200 7.9 inch screen in production and Asus is too cheap to buy it from LG so LG it is. Google doesn't really have a choice.
