What design? They're all the same.

I hate the Samsung phone designs, the Moto phones look cooler and are easier to hold.

"Regardless of specs, we all have an iPhone which we think looks unsurpassably cool, and that's not necessarily the latest one." No we don't. The early iPhones were bricks, the iPhone 4's were designed to have a broken back slab of glass (and front one too), the iPhone 5's and 6's are way to big for their screen sizes. "Premium" materials aside (I guess a can of Milwaukee's Best or Steel Reserve is "premium" too), iCrap is only designed to look pretty in a showroom and sell to gullible fools, rather than hold up well to real-world usage when it comes to actual durability and longevity.

5 and 5s are great ! 4 and 4s are pretty good too. iPhones have beautiful design, but they all have one very big issue and I really do not understand why are Apple ignoring it? HUGE bezels. The latest headsets have the same issue. iPhone 6 has 4.7" screen, but has the physical size of a phone with 5.0" - 5.2" screen. The 6+ is bigger than the Note 4, with a smaller screen.

I like the one that conforms to an individual's ass when in the rear pocket. No two asses are alike and Apple's study allowed them to patent "Tailored Formation." The 6plus allows this to happen. Customizing is taken to a new level. John B.

I honestly can't vote on this because like previous comments they all look the same, so doesn't matter which one you pick.

I personally liked the 3G/3GS design. It was sleek but sturdy. I never liked the squared off edges, and glass on the front and back was a bad idea, including the Nexus4.

For me it's a close tie between what I believe are the 2 cleanest and minimalist looking devices. The 3G/3GS, and the 5.

Where's the option for none of the above? Not everyone is a fan of Apple's design language and I think it'd be interesting to see what the split is.

Did you even read the title? If you don't like iPhone designs, don't click the article. Just saying.

Looking at the "Hot Reviews" section over on the right it seems as though ALL phones look like iPhones, Apple must have done something right...

While to an extent they do, really what other design or shape could they have. Square, round, and triangular don't work, and since a larger display is better for viewing and interaction, you'll want the screen taking up most of the face. Arguing against that is like those people champion oddball designs for bicycles or cars. You know the bicycles where you lay down and row rather than sit and peddle. They may work, but they're not as efficient a design.

Exactly, I was just randomly commenting on all the posts about "All iPhones look the same"... I think a more correct comment, rather than a simple Apple-bashing one would be "All modern smartphones look pretty similar".

On that I agree with you. What makes me take issue with Apple is that they were suing because of this. In some cases, there's only so many designs or ways of doing things that will work. My thought, if it's not an exact copy or intentionally trying to pass it off as another product, in some cases you just have to deal with two competing products looking similar.

I like iPhone 5C the best! No joke! Hate metal phones, and colors and textures of that one is awesome. Too bad its iOS.

Me too. By far the cleanest design! Not surprisingly also the one that resembles the Fabula design of the Nokia Lumias the most. Still doesn't get near the slick, curved displays on the N9, Lumia 800, 720, etc. of course, and the app-grid home screen can make any phone look like crap...

Well I wasn't convinced by the design leaks, until the announcement I liked the 5s design more, but after I saw the hands on photos and videos, I like the iPhone 6's design more, hands down the best designed iPhone ever!

If there was ever a time were I seriously considered getting an iPhone, it was when the 4 was released. That was a beautiful phone compared to everything else that was out at the time.

More regurgitated iPhonemania for us to have to "care" about. I'll tell you what's the least appealing (for its time) - iPhone 6.
