What do you think will be the Galaxy S9 and S9+ price with US carriers?

Samsung's flagships smartphones started at $500 for the original Galaxy S, to the rumored nearly $1000 tag for the fast-approaching Galaxy S9+. That's doubling of the launch price in the span of 8 years, a bit shorter period than Apple's double trouble going from $500 for the OG iPhone, to $999 for the iPhone X.

By now, there are indications from three independent sources already that the Galaxy S9 will cost a hundred (euros, pounds sterling) more than what the Galaxy S8 commanded at launch. These same insiders tip the price differential between the S9+ and the S9 to be larger than that between the S8 and S8+, too, to the tune of 150 (euros, pounds) more, instead of the hundred last year.

Given that smartphone prices in Euros or GBP can't be converted directly into USD to gauge how much will the S9 and S9+ land for in US carriers, we wanted to ask you what do you think will be the tags for Samsung's spring flagships on this side of the pond.
