Battery capacity don't tell how good the battery life is, it depends on how the software is optimized. Why the 2600 mAh battery on the HTC One M8 can outlast the 3000 mAh one on the Xperia Z1?

Honestly, better efficiency is always the true way. Getting the same life out of a smaller cell is better: less asted energy, less electrical costs in charging ... and not least of all, faster charging. My Tablet Z's skinny 6,000_cell charges in half the time an iPad 3 takes.

OCD has nothing to do with extra batteries. It's an actual disorder...

hasnt anyone heard of stamina mode on Sony's phone? If my battery drops to like 10% and i put it on i get about 12 hours on standby and with it on at 100% i get like 5 days and 11 hours

Almost every OEM put in the phones some saving mode. But this here is different approach.

all i can see is that it shuts down un needed features like stamina mode which turns off wifi bluetooth and such when the screen is off and such

It also turns the display in grey scale which is very very efficient only on Amoled screen because of higher presence of blacks. Also if you read wilsong's post, it doesn't sacrifice performance of the device and also implements lucidLogic's smart battery tech.

Sony could use better advertising like Samsung's...just saying. Stamina Mode is awsome.

I must say, my sister received hers today and I thought the back was ugly on pictures. But it's actually quite nice. She has the black one and it looks good. Won't trade in my N5 though, but wouldn't mind the S5.

Just got getting a S5, Samsung sends you an email for 50% off accessories within 90 days of your purchase date. Guess who's getting a new battery for a weeks worth a juice? ;)
