We’ll see an Android-based Huawei phone at the MWC

In 2008, we informed you about the plans of the Chinese manufacturer, Huawei, to begin developing Android-based phones. The good news is that the company seems to have taken this task to heart and their first phone working on the Google open-source operating system will be introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2009. Other plans include the introducing of the world’s smallest wireless modem, the first commercial HSPA+ Stick and the first phone that is based on a single UMTS chipset. We have more good news coming for you – we’ll be there too and will do everything in order to get to these interesting devices.
