We have some 90 smartphones in front of us, ask us anything about them!

For nearly 15 years now, PhoneArena has been one of the web's most recognizable mobile tech venues. As far as web sites go, that's a pretty long stretch. In that times, the various members of the team—some past, others still present—have brought, and will continue to bring, more news pieces, reviews, and articles than we care to count. We honestly wouldn't even risk querying our database lest it halts and catches fire. In any case, and as you can imagine, during all these years, hundreds—perhaps even thousands—of phones have passed through our halls for a closer inspection...

Which phone has the best sounding speakers? Display? And battery life?

I doubt if there is such a phone.. According to me, Speakers - HTC Display - Samsung Battery - Sony

Sony used to have excellent battery life. Not anymore thanks to Snapdragon 810. Huawei mate 8 beats any flagship in battery life AFAIK.

Sony is best when it comes to battery life.. They did it, they can do it again.. I am referring brands who are best in a particular department.. Not all the HTC have best speakers and not all the Samsung's have best displays..

Mate 8 is 6" phone with average camera, making it irrelevant.

Depend. Sony Camera app on the phone are crap but the camera itself is amazing. My Z1 using Camera FV-5 beat the crap out of most phone thats came out in 2015 and take better looking picture than S7 ( in day light ) But empty hating is always welcome right?

True. There's no all around perfect phone. Each OEM phone takes a win in a particular category

not at it's fullest we've seen manufacture don't stick to a single idea for ever! prove? Speakers- LG G3 has one of the very best "speaker" ever fit into a cell phone!U see now HTC dropped the ball! with the upcoming 10. Display- It all comes in preference pros and cons from ips's and oled's, yes definitely Samsung has the right color temperature and the blacks but the tech being used to accomplished this suffers from usage! go and check display's S7, S6, S5, Notes and so on your carrier's kiosk, they're all burned! Battery- Samsung Galaxy S5 plus the "active" were good if not the best! now the s6 back to house! and I'd guess sony has been pretty govod at this department! well now using mediatek chips....... There's no such a thing as this manufacturer is recognizable for such and such. They don't keep their own ideas more than 3 gen in a row. It's all about marketing and what's trending!

Did you update the Z5P to Marshmallow, and if so how is it? Some users are reporting the battery life and heat issues are gone.

I dont have the Z5P just the normal Z5. But marshmallow made it a beast. Better camera , battery life and yeah the phone dont heat as much anymore ( even if before its was far from intolerable and the phone always was butter smooth.

How many of them run the latest Android/iOS version? How many of them have bogged down overtime?

Samsung devices bog down the fastest over time. This is a known fact, unfortunately.

My S4 runs hasn't bogged down. In fact performance is much better in Lollipop. This is a known fact. I've been using it since October 2013

Iphone user should not talk about android phone if they dont use them or work with them at least. Samsung dont slow down over time in fact usually they get smoother and smoother but battery life do tend to go on the down side.
