Vonage offers support for AT&T, T-Mobile Android phones with CDMA version coming soon
On Friday, Vonage offered a new app for Android devices. The only problem is that for now, it will work only on AT&T and T-Mobile models. Vonage does say that a CDMA variant is in the works and should be out soon.. For now, Android users on AT&T and T-Mobile can make free domestic VoIP calls to anywhere in the U.S.while using Wi-Fi. As for international calls, the app allows you to pick from an unlimited calling plan for $24.99 per month that covers 60 countries, or a pay as you go service that requires a credit card on file. The app can be configured to automatically be the default service for outgoing calls on your handset and is now available in the Android Market. The Vonage application has already been released to iPhone and BlackBerry users.
