: O Featherweight? Ultra high resolution? Seems that A15 isn't a battery hog after all.

It's Anandtech I was referring to. They were doing a comparison with Intel Atom. And they make claims on A15 based on just one product (Nexus 10). This here A15 is said to have up to 45% less power consumption than the previous A9 based quad core version (Tegra 3) From what I see, Intel is kicked out of the park and there's still no competition with ARM at all

I havent read the article yet, but I'd believe the power reduction. The T3 was not very good for power.

Are those speaker grills on the back running along the sides? Sweet. Ideally it could dock with something but I think it's quite amazing regardless.

Take my money!!! I've had the Motorola Xoom since it came out... It's time for me to upgrade and this tablet or a Nexus 10 (though I'm not impressed by Samsung's design) could be my next tablet.

" As of now, that's what I can conclude from the obvious facts that are given. n10 only has dual core A15 processors, while tegra 4 has quadcore. That alone can conclude which has an edge in terms of performance because of the fact that they both have the same architecture." "Who says something like that? Tegra 3 v exynos 5250? Are you kidding? That are two different architectures! Didn't I say, in comparison with same architectures? You really are contradicting yourself." Correction, you are contradicting YOURSELF. The tegra2 issue isnt a thing of the past for the people that still rock tegra2 sets, of which there are many. Nvidia's business practices havent changed, so expect the same issue to arise if/when we see android 5.xx. Nvidia has earned my money for computer parts, but they have burned bridges until further notice on mobile parts. I have 2 tegra2 devices and a tegra3 device in my house and neither T2 has ICS officially. Thankfully they have been able to get ICS/JB working on T2 tablets, they just dont have working cameras, which is fine. But that is because of a strong mod community, not because of help from Nvidia who tried to squash mod development at one point. No, the minor updates are manufacturer faults.. 2.2 to 2.3.. 4.0 to 4.1.. the major updates are still held back to this day by Nvidia unless the manufacturer pays per device for them... aka the 2.3 to 4.0+ upgrade that most T2 users are hoping for. Motorola cancelled a bunch of major upgrades for older flagship T2 phones this past year due to it. Its not an "LG" thing, its an Nvidia thing. And its quite well known through the mod communities. Breathe into a paper bag... and go do some research.

Other than there doesnt seem to be any CPU step down clocking (its either at minimum speed or maximum speed, though normally a chip will dynamically adjust between multiple speeds depending on load) its pretty nice. I keep it underclocked to 1ghz because 1.5ghz is just unneeded. The nexus4 is a near perfect phone for regular use. A hair more battery power and some CPU and camera tweaks and its there. I almost never pick up my tablet any more which I used to use quite often with my SGS1. When the exynos5 quads drop into devices I might look at trading it up, but other than that there isnt much of anything thats gonna entice me at all. Yes yes, you were right on the timeline, i was wrong :) Happy now :) :) :) Not my fault they broke the traditional 6-8 month chip upgrade cycle. :) Did you ever get your HTC butterfly that you were droolin over? This guy is a fool. Dont know who he is and he obviously doesnt know me, but he's a darn

Yeah I have the HTC Droid DNA & it's CLEARLY the best phone out for Verizon & the world for that matter. The 1080p SLCD HD screen is like NOTHING you have ever seen. It's CLEARLY the crowning jewel of mobile tech at the moment. Using it daily since it came out I am STILL at awe from the beauty of it. EVERYTHING on that phone looks so good, bright & oh so VERY clean/crisp. Websites on that screen are incredible, you literally see EVERYTHING, I know because my last phone was 720p & 1080p is just bananas. You are so right about the underclocking. The phone is just so BEAST that even down from 1.5GHz to 1GHz the phone just humms with no lag what so ever. I can't even imagine how EPIC a quad-core A-15 would be. I am telling you, these new phones are so darn powerful. I don't even know what to do with all that power. lol
