Video shows HTC Touch.B/Rome using Qualcomm's BrewMP
We shouldn't be too surprised that HTC's Touch.B/Rome turned out to be powered by Qualcomm's BrewMP. After all, back on November 19th we reported that HTC was "Brewing up" some featurephones using the mobile platform version of Brew, with a launch in early 2010 for Verizon and Sprint. The OS integrates flash technology. Now we have some moving pictures of a BrewMP powered device doing its thing. So put the nickel in the slot, crank up the nickelodeon and away we go.
